Arrive to Berlin today! On arrival, check in at the Hampton by Hilton Berlin City West for a two night stay. Perhaps head out to begin exploring the city. (Overnight in Berlin)

Day 2: Berlin

After a leisurely breakfast in your hotel this morning, set out to explore the city. Wandering through Berlin feels like getting lost inside a history textbook, with landmarks of huge significance embroidering the corners and squares. Be sure to pay a visit to the iconic Checkpoint Charlie, the name given to the infamous crossing point between East and West Berlin. The checkpoint was closed in 1990 and is now home to the Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie which traces the history of the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie. (Overnight in Berlin)

Day 3: Berlin to Prague

Check out of the hotel after breakfast and make your way to Berlin's magnificent Hauptbahnhof station. Catch the train directly to Prague, checking in at your hotel for a two night stay. Prague is known as the “City of a Hundred Spires” thanks to its steeple-woven cityscape, and you will find plenty of historic buildings to discover along the winding, cobbled streets. Spend the rest of the day getting your bearings in the Czech capital, perhaps heading to the Old Town for a traditional dinner. (Overnight in Prague)

Day 4: Prague

Spend a full day exploring Prague today. Marvel at the baroque St Nicholas Church, with its pure white frontage and stunning frescoes lining its interior, explore the quaint medieval lanes of the Castle Complex, and stroll by the meandering Vltava River. Cross the grand Charles Bridge, an iconic landmark from the 14th century, and admire the views from St. Vitus Cathedral. (Overnight in Prague)

Day 5: Prague to Vienna

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Prague this morning before checking out and catching the train directly to Vienna. On arrival, make your way to your hotel and check in for a two night stay. Set out and explore the Austrian capital, famous for its opulent Opera House and grandiose architecture. Relax and indulge in the city's famed café culture, or perhaps enjoy a slice of Sachertorte, the city's famous chocolate cake. (Overnight in Vienna)

Day 6: Vienna

Explore Vienna for a full day today. Discover the opulent interiors of the Baroque Schonbrunn Palace, admire the art collection inside the 18th-century Belvedere palace or marvel at the facades of the neo-gothic Rathaus. You might like to take in a show at the famous Spanish Riding School, featuring its iconic Lipizzaner horses, or indulge in the city's famous dish - Wiener schnitzel. (Overnight in Vienna)

Day 7: Vienna to Budapest

Depart Vienna after breakfast this morning, catching a direct, high speed train through to Budapest. On arrival in the Hungarian capital, check in at your hotel for a two night stay. Budapest is growing in popularity recently, and strolling along the banks of the sparkling Danube past extravagant, historic architecture it isn't hard to see why. Bisected by the Danube into Buda and Pest, be sure to cross the connecting 19th-century Chain Bridge in the evening to see both sides wonderfully illuminated at dusk. (Overnight in Budapest)

Day 8: Budapest

Spend the whole day exploring everything that Budapest has to offer. The city enjoys a unique location atop thermal hot springs, which has resulted in a rich selection of baths across the city. The largest, and perhaps grandest, of these are the sunny yellow Széchenyi Medicinal Baths, complete with both indoor and outdoor pools or tranquil water to relax in. Explore the huge Hungarian art collection in Buda Castle, or discover the famous Hungarian Parliament Building, the largest of its kind in the world. (Overnight in Budapest)
