Day 1 ARRIVE COPENHAGEN: 

After landing in Copenhagen, make your way across the city to your accommodation. Get settled before exploring this trendy capital on your own, or just stay in and rest up for the week ahead! Copenhagen - Scandic Palace - Standard 3 Nights 

The Scandic Palace is a historical landmark build in 1910 and one of Denmark's most renowned hotels with a impressive history combined with a stylish and modern interior. The hotel is conveniently located next to the City Hall, Stroget pedestrian street and Tivoli Gardens. Guest rooms are decorated with retro and classic accents on a neutral palette, with an array of modern amenities to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Guests can enjoy specialties from the onsite restaurant, or relax at the Palace Bar, which features an intimate atmosphere that attracts both hotel guests and locals alike. 

Day 2 COPENHAGEN: After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, get prepared for a full day of exploring the city by foot be sure to wear comfortable clothes and a good pair of walking shoes for your adventure! Head toward the Maritime Monument where you will meet up with your guide at 10:30am. With expert guidance and special insight to this cultural capital, you will be accompanied to the Amalienborg Palace and its stunning gardens, passing by some of the citys incredible architecture and landmarks along the way including the famous bronze sculpture of the Little Mermaid by Dutch artist Edvard Eriksen. Visit Rosenborg Castle and its well preserved renaissance structure, and unveil the beauty of its interior halls, thrones, and regalia on display, using the entry tickets that are included with todays tour. Weave through the Nyhavn neighborhood and admire its charming houses along the canals where you can take a break and get lunch on your own. After filling up, head to Europes oldest observatory, the 17th century Round Tower and use your included entry tickets to explore its interior. End the day at Christiansborg Palace, the seat of the Danish Parliament. The rest of the evening is for you to enjoy at your leisure. (Breakfast)

Day 3 COPENHAGEN: Today is an opportunity to explore Copenhagen freely and absorb its offerings at your own pace, ending with an immersive Danish cooking class! After breakfast at the hotel, perhaps you will find yourself shopping along the famed Stroget Street, or heading to the third oldest amusement park in the world, Tivoli Gardens. As the afternoon passes, be sure to build up your appetite for an evening of Danish cooking! Head toward the Nyhavn neighborhood to meet up with your cooking group, lead by a renowned local chef. Become immersed in flavor by creating a three course meal inspired by traditional Danish ingredients with a Nordic style flare. Using hands on techniques, gain knowledge on how to not only cook an amazing meal, but present it beautifully on the plate. Sit down and enjoy the dishes you just created, while sipping on a glass of wine. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Small Group Nordic Dinner Class -  With an inspiring array of classic ingredients, seasonal foods and foraged delicacies, you will enjoy an evening of learning and exploring the Danish and Nordic kitchen. In this class you will create a three course meal inspired by traditional Danish classics, but fused with the New Nordic cuisine. 

Day 4 COPENHAGEN TO ODENSE: Fill up on breakfast at the hotel and get packed up and ready to go. This morning you will pick up your rental car and make your way toward Odense, cutting across the center of Zealand and passing over the Great Belt on your way to the countrys third largest city, located in the heart of Denmarks Funen Island. Spend your evening wandering this charming and picturesque destination, fittingly the home to famed fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen or stay in and get rested up for your day tomorrow. Hit the road in your rental car and venture westward, crossing into Jutland and continuing northbound up to the city of Aarhus. This car journey takes just under two hours and boasts sweeping views of the countrys sparkling waterways, sprawling countryside, and charming towns. Arrive at your accommodation in Aarhus and get settled for the evening. (Breakfast)
