Day 1: Your Journey Begins in Anchorage
Welcome to Anchorage! Check into your hotel and drop off your luggage so you can begin exploring. Enjoy a guided 15-mile scenic tour through Anchorage and learn about its history and the culture. (Overnight in Anchorage)
Day 2: Seward
Board Alaska Railroad’s Coastal Classic train for your trip from Anchorage to Seward and you’ll quickly see why National Geographic Traveler ranked this route among their Top Ten Train Rides in North America! Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure exploring Seward on the shores of Resurrection Bay. (Overnight in Seward)
Day 3: Kenai Fjords National Park
Today, cruise through Kenai Fjords National Park and witness the beauty of the mountains, glaciers, remote islands and wildlife. This evening, travel by train back to Anchorage for the night. (Overnight in Anchorage)
Day 4: Denali National Park
Board the train this morning and take a picturesque ride on Alaska Railroad as you travel to Denali. Enjoy views of the backcountry and the Alaska Range. When you see Denali soaring above the Sustina River, you know you are getting close! (Overnight in Talkeetna)
Day 5: Denali National Park
Explore all the best Denali National Park has to offer on your tour today. Highlights of your tour include a stop at the Polychrome Overlook which is known for its gorgeous kaleidoscope of colors and Wonder Lake offering some of the best views of Denali and the Alaska Range. (Overnight in Denali)
Day 6: Anchorage, Alaska
This afternoon, board Alaska Railroad once more for the journey back to Anchorage. (Overnight in Anchorage)
