Additional Information

Day 1: Arrive Windhoek

Welcome to Windhoek, Namibia’s capital city, where African charm intertwines with German-influenced architecture. Transfer to the luxurious Am Weinberg hotel for a relaxing evening before tomorrow’s flight to Etosha National Park.

Day 2: Windhoek to Etosha National Park

Fly to Mokuti airstrip and transfer to Onguma Safari Camps for a 3-night stay in a tented camp. Located on the eastern border of Etosha National Park, Onguma offers an unforgettable blend of game viewing, tranquility, romance, and adventure.

Day 3: Etosha National Park

Explore Etosha National Park with thrilling game drives, encompassing its mesmerizing landscape dominated by a vast salt pan spanning 6,133 square kilometers. Known as the "Place of Mirages," it provides stunning backdrops for wildlife gatherings around natural waterholes. The park supports a rich array of wildlife, including four of the Big 5 – lion, elephant, rhino, and leopard.

Day 4: Etosha National Park

Enjoy another day exploring the Etosha area with various activities at Onguma, from game drives to guided bush walks, bush dining, and sundowner drives at Onguma reserve.

Day 5: Etosha National Park to Damaraland

Catch an early afternoon flight to Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in Damaraland's breathtaking landscapes—one of Namibia's most scenic regions, ripe for exploration. Home to sparse settlements, desert-adapted elephants, and ancient rock art, its rugged terrain boasts surreal landscapes, including the iconic Spitzkoppe mountain and Brandberg Massif. Twyfelfontein is renowned for its remarkable rock engravings dating back over 6,000 years. Camp Kipwe will be your home for the next two days.

Day 6: Damaraland

Camp Kipwe offers ample opportunities to explore the area. Take a guided nature drive to search for desert-adapted elephants and explore the surroundings. In the afternoon, embark on a 2-hour tour to discover the Twyfelfontein rock engravings, Burnt Mountain, and the Organ Pipes.

Day 7: Damaraland to Swakopmund

After a leisurely morning, take a flight to Swakopmund, a charming coastal town nestled between the rolling dunes of the Namib Desert and the Atlantic Ocean. Known for its colonial architecture, vibrant markets, and outdoor activities, Swakopmund offers a unique blend of adventure and relaxation.

Day 8: Swakopmund

Embark on a thrilling adventure along the coastal dunes between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, where sandy landscapes meet the azure waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Learn about endemic fauna and flora, conservation, and geology. Experience an exhilarating 4x4 dune drive, marveling at the breathtaking views of the desert meeting the sea.

Day 9: Swakopmund to Sossuvlei

Your journey continues to the iconic Sossusvlei, a picturesque salt and clay pan nestled in the southern Namib Desert of Namibia. Here, you'll encounter the towering red sand dunes, among the highest globally, creating a mesmerizing contrast against the blue sky and desert backdrop. Enjoy a 3-night stay at the Desert Grace Lodge, offering a tranquil retreat amidst vast desert plains.

Day 10: Sossuvlei

Embark on an early-morning nature experience, exploring the gems of Sossusvlei with a professional guide in a 4X4 Safari Vehicle. Enjoy an immersive day filled with incredible experiences, insightful commentary, photography stops, and a picnic lunch under majestic Camel Thorn trees.

Day 11: Sossusvlei
