Day 1 (SEP 1): Rome, Italy - Departs

The second-largest island in the Mediterranean, Sardinia is home to dramatic coastline and breath-taking landscapes. Boasting picturesque harbors, stunning beaches, superb vineyards, and groves of olive trees that seem to stretch for miles and miles, Sardinia offers prehistoric ruins and medieval walled towns, which never fail to capture the imagination of visitors. Offering so much to see and do, Alghero is one of the island’s best-preserved Medieval cities.
Day 11 (SEP 11): Ajaccio, Corsica, France
Corsica’s charismatic capital is a land of colorful streets, flavorsome, rustic cuisine, and perhaps most notably, historical importance.
Day 12 (SEP 12): Day at Sea

Only three miles from mainland Italy, Messina sits on Sicily’s northeastern tip under Mount Etna’s unerring gaze. Messina is known as "the door of Sicily" and has always been a lively trading center. One of Messina’s top attractions is the astronomical clock, housed in a soaring bell tower on the Piazza del Duomo. Be there for midday, and see the display of bronze mythological figures and lions.
