Day 14 (JUL 21): Alesund, Norway

Sailing through Norway’s glass-like waters on route to Alesund, you’ll be struck by a sweeping peninsula of Art Nouveau architecture, stretching to lush greenery, where mountain peaks reach skyward, reflected in the converging fjords. Arriving in Alesund, you could be forgiven for thinking you’d stepped off your ship into the pages of a fairy-tale. A myriad of towering spires and decorative turrets, it’s easy to see why this vibrant fishing port is regarded as one of the prettiest cities in Norway.

Day 15 (JUL 22): Skjolden, Norway

Skjolden is a serene village nestled among mountains. You’ll arrive there via Sognefjord, the world’s longest navigable fjord, putting you at the heart of Norway’s majestic scenery.

Among the network of tranquil fjords on the west coast of Norway is Lustrafjorden, a beautiful patch of water surrounded by vibrant, rolling green hills and looming mountains.

Day 16 (JUL 23): Hardangerfjord, Norway

Thundering waterfalls spilling into swirling waters. Granite mountains dusted with snow or the seasonal blossom of fruit trees. Towering gulleys, moulded over millennia by ice, wind, and water. A Hardangerfjord cruise-by is a chance to feast your eyes on unforgettable Norwegian nature, whist your Cunard ship glides gracefully through the millpond waters of one of the world’s longest fjords.

A peaceful village located at the mouth of Oldeelva river, Olden sits at the northern end of the Oldedalen valley on the Nordfjorden southern shore. A place where winding valleys and peaks live in harmony with cascading waterfalls and glacier waters, in Olden, you are presented with many wonderful things to see and do.

Day 21 (JUL 28): Innvikfjorden, Norway- Scenic Cruising

Cruises to Innvikfjorden immerse you in a land of enchanting beauty, with landscapes carved from the pages of a fairy tale. Journey through crystal waters, past emerald-green forests, majestic snow-capped mountains, and cascading waterfalls.

Day 21 (JUL 28): Nordfjord, Norway- Scenic Cruising

Sailing offers by far the best way to appreciate the scale and majesty of this ancient region, where the palette of blues, grays, and greens are occasionally punctuated by an ambitious hiker or a wild pony grazing at the fjord’s edge. Certain branches of the Nordfjord even resemble a tropical paradise, with near-transparent waters fringing beaches composed entirely of pure white sand.

Day 22 (JUL 29): Skjolden, Norway

Skjolden itself actually sits within the Lusterfjord, an arm of the Sognefjord, and your arrival is truly mesmerising. Forested slopes lead down towards the still waters, summer meadows and fruit-bearing farmlands extend from their edge in patchworks of brilliant green, made so vibrant by the melt water of two glaciers.

Day 22 (JUL 29): Sognefjord, Norway- Scenic Cruising

The pin drop calm that inhabits this otherworldly realm is yet another sensory experience to savor, perfect for appreciating from your stateroom balcony or in the quiet comfort of your ship’s expansive decks. The “King of the Fjords” is the largest in Norway, and its home to some of the region’s most dramatic and unspoiled scenery.

Days 23-24 (JUL 30-31): Days at sea

Day 25 (AUG 1): Isafjordur, Iceland

Few regions are as wild and unspoilt as Iceland’s Westfjords. With miles of mountains and few-and-far-between roads, venturing here evokes the feeling of entering unchartered terrain. The landscape is dramatic and approaching by sea offers the perfect chance to absorb the scenery before setting foot on land. The most enchanting attraction of this area perhaps is the peace, stillness and calm it emanates. Embrace local life in Ísafjörður town or visit the charming nearby village of Flateyri. Further afield you can sail to Vigur, home to Iceland’s last remaining windmill, where time has seemingly stood still and boat is the only connection to the world outside.

Day 26 (AUG 2): Reykjavik, Iceland

Nestled on the coast of the land of fire and ice, Reykjavik is your gateway to Iceland’s rugged natural wonders. The world’s most northern capital, this city is world renowned for its unspoiled natural landscapes, Viking history, and vibrant city culture.

Days 27-29 (AUG 3-5): Days at Sea

Day 30 (AUG 6): Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

A star-shaped fortress welcomes you to this fascinating city. Here you can stand beside the visionary Sir Samuel Cunard himself, or rather the bronze statue that presides over his hometown waterfront. Halifax gardens is a must-see in the capital of Nova Scotia. It’s a tranquil tapestry of manicured lawns, winding paths and iron railings, crowned by an ornate Victorian bandstand.
