Day 1 (FEB 21): Seoul, South Korea

Travel to Seoul and discover its 5,000-year-old heritage amidst the ultra-modern high-rises. Visit the magnificent 14th century Gyeongbok Palace and stone pagoda, the National Museum and the bustling antique district. Or spend a day in the serene atmosphere of a Zen Buddhist temple and a historic Korean village. Tour the DMZ and rediscover the drama of recent history. Or simply wander the fish market and promenade at Inchon.

Day 2 (FEB 22): At Sea

Day 3-4 (FEB 23-24): Busan, South Korea

From trendy cafes and famous fish markets to sacred temples and traditional tea ceremonies, Busan, the second largest city in South Korea is bursting with flavors and culture. Take a walk in the relaxing Yongdusan Park while admiring the various species of trees and a view of the Busan Tower. At the Hongbeopsa farming temple, explore the renowned large Buddha statues at the Main Buddha Hall while walking along a water lily path, or experience a traditional Korean tea ceremony conducted by one of their monks.

As Japan’s sixth largest city, Fukuoka offers diversions for every type of traveler – ancient temples, bustling shopping centers, beautiful beaches, notable art galleries and some of the most renowned food in Japan. The city's famous open-air food stalls, known as Yatai, serve their signature ramen in a variety of forms. History connoisseurs will delight in Shofukuji, Japan’s first Zen temple, founded in 1195. You can also get a glimpse into the past at The Maizuru Castle, with its almost 500-year-old remnants. Across the bay, Uminonakamichi Seaside Park is an expansive and inviting marine destination with a zoo, gardens, beaches and a large aquarium.

Day 8 (FEB 28): Nagasaki, Japan

Discover remnants of old Nagasaki beside the modern city. Visit the Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum. Or travel to Arita, home of magnificent Japanese ceramics, and tour famous Kakiemon Kiln, which continues a 400-year-old tradition. Experience feudal Japan and the natural wonders of Shimabara Peninsula with its volcanoes and hot springs.

Day 9 (MAR 1): Jeju, South Korea

Known as the "Island of the Gods," Jeju offers beautiful beaches as well as breathtaking views from Hallasan, the highest peak in South Korea. The volcanic island features one of the finest lava tube systems of caves in the world and has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its dramatic landscapes of outstanding beauty. Walk the scenic path to the Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, one of the island’s most famous attractions, and watch history and culture come alive at the open-air Jeju Folk Village Museum.

Day 11-12 (MAR 3-4): Beijing (Tianjin), China

Travel to Beijing and stroll through the amazing Forbidden City and infamous Tiananmen Square. Visit the beautiful Temple of Heaven, where the emperor annually celebrated the harvest, and walk on the centuries-old Great Wall of China. Venture farther to Xian on a land tour to explore the Terracotta Warriors Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with more than 7,000 life-size statues standing guard over the tomb of the first emperor of a unified China.

See the amazing contrasts of this burgeoning city, from the broad European-style Bund to the soaring ultra-modern buildings. Visit the magnificent art museum and the renowned 16th century Yu Yuan Gardens. Enjoy the city by night, see an acrobatic show, browse in local markets or take a trip to one of the famed garden cities of Suzhou or Wuxi.
